Necropunks

As promised, this week I'm trying to catch up with the blog backlog. Here are three more Malifaux models I've painted recently - Necropunks. 

They make for excellent scheme runners. Their Wk of 4' is unimpressive but their Cg is 6' and they have a (0) Leap action that allows them to move up their Cg, ignoring terrain and models (as long as they get a 7 of any suit). They're quite survivable too as they're both Hard to Wound and Hard to Kill. What's more, they can heal themselves at the expense of being more vulnerable for one turn. When cornered, Necropunks can also dish out some damage with a (2) Flurry action. I'd say all of that isn't too bad for a 5 soulstone minion.

Tak jak obiecałem, w tym tygodniu staram się nadrabiać blogowe zaległości . Tym razem trzy modele do Malifaux, które niedawno ostatnio pomalowałem - Necropunki.

To jedne z najlepszych modeli do robienia schematów. Co prawda ich Wk to jedynie 4 cale, ale ich szarża to już 6, przy czym posiadają dodatkowo akcję Leap za (0), która pozwala im przesunąć się o wartość Cg, ignorując teren i inne modele (dopóki wyciągnie się lub dorzuci z ręki co najmniej 7 dowolnego koloru). Potrafią też sporo przetrwać dzięki umiejętnościom Hard to Wound i Hard to Kill. Co więcej, Nekropunki mogą się leczyć kosztem bycia bardziej wrażliwymi na ciosy przez jedną turę. Przyciśnięci do ściany potrafią zadać trochę obrażeń dzięki akcji (2) Flurry. Powiedziałbym że to wszystko to całkiem niezłe możliwości jak na model za 5 soulstonów.

The design of these miniatures is just mind-blowing. The right one is actually a re-sculpt of the old metal version but the other two are simply awesome. The one in the middle was a bit challenging to put together, but in the end I managed to do it (even without instructions).

I really like painting models like these. Sickly skin tone and old, corroded metal are things that I always enjoy working on. These guys are "punks" of a kind too, so I used bright, vivid colors for their hair as I thought it would add a nice element of contrast. I've also used the new MaS planking bases I got from their Kickstarter.

Design tych modeli po prostu wymiata. Co prawda ten z prawej to odświeżona wersja starego metalowego modelu. ale pozostali dwaj są po prostu niesamowici. Ten środkowy przysporzył  mi trochę kłopotów przy składaniu, ale ostatecznie jakoś się udało (nawet bez instrukcji).

Bardzo lubię malować tego typu modele. Blada skóra i stary, zniszczony metal to elementy przy których zawsze dobrze mi się pracuje. Ci goście to też swojego rodzaju "punki", a więc użyłem jasnych, żywych kolorów na ich włosach. Doszedłem do wniosku, że uzyskam dzięki temu dodatkowy element kontrastu. Użyłem przy nich też nowych podstawek MaS , które niedawno dostałem dzięki ich Kickstarterowi.
