Lelu no. 4

This is actually the fourth Lelu I've painted. I've painted the old metal version twice (here and here), and I made my own proxy using TTB bits. I've written everything about the use of this model in game before and painting the new version was pretty much the same as with the previous ones so I won't go into details here. The main difference was that I started this one with applying red and some highlights using airbrush, and then working on shadows and highlights with a brush.

I really like the new version of Lelu. It's dynamic and full of character. Looking at it, I can't help but think of Dave Grohl as Beelzebub in Tenacious D's video called "Tribute".

To już czwarty model Lelu który miałem okazję malować. Pracowałem wcześniej z metalową wersją (tutaj i tutaj), zrobiłem też moją własną wersję proxy, korzystając z części z zestawu TTB. Pisałem już o użyciu tego modelu w grze wcześniej, a malowanie nowej wersji nie różniło się znacznie od pracy z poprzednimi. Główną różnicą było to, że nałożyłem czerwień wraz z paroma rozjaśnieniami aerografem, a potem pracowałem nad cieniami i rozjaśnieniami pędzlem.

Bardzo podoba mi się nowa wersja modelu Lelu. Jest dynamiczna i pełna charakteru. Patrząc na nią, od razu nasuwa mi się skojarzenie z Davem Grohlem jako Belzebub w klipie Tenacious D "Tribute"
